Jeanne Wright has over 20 years of experience in archaeology, covering all aspects of fieldwork such as intensive surveys, subsurface testing, monitoring, and excavation/data recovery. She is a skilled archaeologist proficient in both prehistoric and historic contexts, experienced in documenting and analyzing a wide range of cultural resources from precontact and historic sites across various regions including the Intermountain West, Great Basin, Sierra Nevada’s, the American Southwest, western Oregon, and Hawaii. Ms. Wright efficiently manages field projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
She has worked as a contracted consultant for many federal and state agencies including the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Idaho Transportation Department, USDA Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, and Idaho Fish and Game, among others. Her contributions have been essential in helping various projects comply with federal and state regulations. Additionally, Ms. Wright has authored technical reports that have consistently met review standards promptly.
Ms. Wright has served as an archaeologist and cultural resources consultant for federally funded projects including the preparation of reports in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended, and meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards and Guidelines [48 FR 44738-44739] for professional archaeologists. She has also secured permits for work on United States Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management lands.
